The calculation of the road tax (TMC) and annual road tax is on the Moniteur Automobile website. The amounts vary from region to region. The former is paid only once on registration, while the latter is payable annually.

Please note that if you decide to become a company, and you already have a car, you can sell it to your company, but you'll have to re-register it, and therefore pay the registration tax again.

No VAT applies and deductibility follows car expenses.

💡 Before buying a car, take this tax into account. A powerful, polluting vehicle can have a TMC of several thousand euros !
