How do I create a new client?
You can create a new client either from a quote/invoice or from the client list. You need to choose between the two client types:
Business client
You can look up the client's details using their VAT number. Once the number is entered, you will also be able to see whether the client is registered on the Peppol network.
If the client is based in Belgium, the VAT number is mandatory.
Private client
Contact details are not mandatory.
How do I edit a client?
If a client's details change, you can update them from the client list.
Use the search bar to filter clients, for example by client name.
💡 Editing a client's details will only affect future invoices.
If an invoice or quote is in draft, will the updated client details be shown once it is finalised?
How do I archive a client?
Archiving a client simply removes them from the client list. Any previously created invoices or quotes are not affected.
Good news: archiving is not permanent. A client can be unarchived at any time.
