In which section should a transaction be categorised?

With BILLY, your transactions are categorised automatically ๐Ÿ™Œ Sometimes a transaction is trickier to categorise automatically, especially if the title is not precise enough.

How do you categorise a rent paid or an expense for which an invoice has been submitted? We'll explain it all to you ๐Ÿค“

Transactions to categorise

From your bank account, you can easily see the number of transactions that don't yet have a category. To highlight only these transactions, click on the following filter ๐Ÿ‘‡

Find the right category

If you don't know which category to apply to a transaction, you can hover your cursor over the category to get a fuller description of it.

To help you, here are a few examples of categorisation:
