๐Ÿ’ก In Belgium, all invoices must contain specific information in order to be considered compliant. You'll find a complete list of these compulsory details in this article.

On BILLY, you can draw up your invoices easily and in compliance with the rules. To find the complete guide to invoice creation, click here ๐Ÿ‘ˆ

How do I invoice a professional on BILLY?

When you create a new invoice, you have the choice of using a customer you've already billed, or creating a new customer.

To create a professional customer, i.e. a natural or legal person who is registered with a commercial court, select"Self-employed/Company" in the"New customer" window.

Customer located in Belgium

If your customer is located in Belgium, enter his company number and then click on the blue magnifying glass ๐Ÿ” the rest of the information will be completed automatically. You can then edit the name to make it clearer for you.

Customer located in the European Union

Creating a European customer is exactly the same as creating a Belgian customer. This is because the European Union has a single system for registering companies, the VIES system, which makes it possible to identify a company in the same way regardless of its country.

Customers outside the European Union

If your company is located outside the European Union, the database search won't work, so you'll have to enter all the information manually ๐Ÿ’ป
