The eco-cheque is a benefit that gives you additional purchasing power. But not for just any purchase: it's only available for the purchase of environmentally-friendly and sustainable products and services.
Eco-cheques are not deductible as business expenses for the company. On the other hand, and this is their great advantage, they are exempt from social security contributions and taxes. Provided you meet a few conditions :
Maximum 250€ per year per employee or manager, and 10€ per eco-check.
Cannot be fully or partially exchanged for cash
Limited validity
Issued in your name
Provided for in a collective labor agreement or individual agreement, as long as the grant applies to everyone
💡 Only products with an eco-label can be purchased with an eco-check.
