Documents that support all accounting entries must be kept for a period of 7 years.
As an ITAA-certified accountant, we are bound by professional secrecy and a duty of discretion. All confidential information shared with us in writing or verbally, telephone conversations, emails, notes exchanged, and correspondence sent to third parties in the context of the mandate granted are subject to these rules.
Professional secrecy is also clearly stated in our engagement letter, which specifies that "The professional, their representatives or employees undertake, within the scope of the tasks entrusted to them, to respect professional secrecy."
However, information that is of a public nature, such as annual accounts or published deeds, is not subject to these measures.
