All the settings for your invoices and quotes are gathered in one place. Simply click the Settings button, available in two locations:
From the invoice editor: to change the settings for that specific invoice or quote only
From the Income > Invoices or Income > Quotes screen: to change the settings globally for all your future invoices or quotes
💡 Settings only apply to new quotes and new invoices created after the change.
The billing settings let you define default values for four types of fields:
General
Payment
Legal notice
Sending
General settings
Date format: specify whether the date is displayed as "15/09/2026", "15 Sep 2026" or "15 September 2026";
Billing details: you can add several, each with an address, logo and trade name (replaces the legal name, including as the email sender name);
Language: set the language in which the quote or invoice will be written — choose between French, Dutch and English.
Payment settings
Seller IBAN: the bank account displayed on the invoice and used for the payment QR code;

VAT-inclusive prices: determines whether unit prices on line items are entered incl. VAT or excl. VAT.
Legal notice settings
Standard payment conditions: shows or hides the automatic notice on late payment interest and the statutory penalty "Any invoice not settled by the due date will automatically and without prior notice bear interest at 10% per annum and a flat-rate penalty of 10% with a minimum of €100";
Custom legal notice: free text, saved once and included on all documents.
Sending settings
Send by email: enables or disables email sending by default for each new document;
Send via Peppol: enables or disables Peppol sending by default, when the client is reachable on the network;
Optional Peppol fields: displays additional e-invoicing fields (billing period and Peppol reference per line item);

Frequently asked questions
I want to change the settings for one invoice only — is that possible?
Yes, simply use the Settings button inside the quote or invoice editor. This button only changes the settings for the quote or invoice currently being edited. The general configuration is not affected.
If I duplicate a document, are the settings from that document or the general settings applied?
When duplicating a quote or invoice, if the app detects a difference between the document's configuration and the general configuration, you will be given a choice on screen: either keep the settings from the duplicated document, or apply the general settings.
