The monthly income statement is a summary of your income for each month ๐ You can use it to check and then close a month: your figures are then validated for tax purposes (forecast and tax return).
Summary of your income
The receipts book includes both your receipts received in cash (via the cash desk) and those received in your bank account. You can see a summary of your figures.
By clicking on a month's line, you can view the details of your income. This allows you to view the accuracy of your receipts for the month one last time โฌ๏ธ
๐ก Check that all your receipts have been entered correctly. If a positive payment on your bank account is not categorised, you will not be able to close your month.
Closing month by month
You are responsible for closing your revenue on a monthly basis ๐ช๐ป This is done in chronological order, one month at a time. A status shows whether or not a month has been closed.
๐ก As soon as a month is validated, your income is taken into account for tax calculations.
Frequent errors
Before closing a month, make sure that your income does not include :
Remuneration received as an employee. This is a payment to be classified as a private payment, not as a service
A payment for which an invoice has been issued. This is income with an invoice.
A reimbursement from a colleague to your business account. This is a private contribution.
A reimbursement of social security contributions. These are social security contributions.
